Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Cleaning Area Supervisor to be responsible for the site supervision and smooth running of our client's London sites. This will involve the ongoing supervision and support of all cleaning staff focussing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behaviour whilst on duty, ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered to all relevant areas of the site. Permanent role - Offices Hours Monday-Friday Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Have good knowledge of the cleaning industry To provide support to all cleaning staff Regularly visit sites and ensuring highest standards of cleanliness are maintained Promote and ensure safe working practices, implementation and compliance to Health and Safety To train and re-train new and existing staff as required in order to meet and wherever possible exceed specification requirements To ensure all cleaners complete the timesheets on time and leave for centre managers to scan and send to office for payroll purposes Supervise the day-to-day procedures regarding inspections and quality control Ensure all necessary site-specific risk information, rules and arrangements are imparted to all employees Ensure that the London Supervisors have appropriate assistance as required. You may be expected to undertake any cleaning tasks as required Record any absences/holidays Due to the nature of the business, you are expected to be flexible in terms of working times, as some of the sites are cleaned early morning and some early evenings Maintaining regular contact with site teams to ensure awareness of site-specific requirements Ensure stock levels are checked regularly and place orders accordingly through office administrator Arrange cover for holidays, absence or sickness accordingly and provide support wherever needed and as instructed by your line manager.
