Overview
My client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. Working as part of a dedicated Finance team this is a hands-on role primarily taking sole responsibility for the accounts payable function. You will be fully conversant in all aspects of accounts payable in order to make a smooth transition into the role. You will also be responsible for reconciling the bank accounts and supporting the wide finance team. This role requires a confident self-starter who can build effective relationships with suppliers and all areas of the business. You will equally have an adaptable approach to changing business requirements and day-to-day finance duties. Key duties will include: Coding and processing purchase invoices and expenses Resolving supplier queries Supplier statement reconciliations Processing supplier payments Bank reconciliations Raising sales invoices You will have the following skills: Strong Accounts Payable skills with a pro-active approach Flexible and happy to assist in other areas of Finance Self-sufficient and able to manage own workload to deadlines Enthusiastic and keen to add value to the Finance department This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of their own work and being an integral part of a Finance team / business.
