This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique transformation and IT services and solutions provider now undergoing a fresh focus to build out the business. With an ever growing client portfolio across public sector, including local government, education, NHS, blue light they also service the enterprise private sector. With multiple UK wide office locations there’s now a new focus to grow the leadership at all levels including an opportunity for a 2nd Line Team Leader to be a key part of the business and to help build and manage the support services team of 2nd line service desk engineers out of Nottingham. With over 1200 group wide headcount this is a great opportunity for 2nd line team-lead to build a career. The Role As a 2nd Line Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of level 2 support desk engineers, providing mentoring, guidance and advice around day to day processes, tasks, incidents, management reporting and responsibilities as well as delivering hands in support while the role develops into further leadership as the team grows in size. Lead and manage the 2nd line Service Desk Engineer Team Manage service and incident processes (including incident management) Managing client relationships Coach and guide the team around client support, incidents and technical progression Provide a technical hand when the limited circumstances require Technology support will blend across EUC / Modern Desktop and some Server Infrastructure, including: Windows to v 10 Office 365 Active Directory Exchange Back Up / Antivirus Device print Windows Server Hyper-V Occasional MAC iOS as required Basic routing & Switch admin An understanding and willingness to help others Knowledge of ITIL an advantage So…. if you are looking to further your career within an ever-growing IT Service Provider then get in touch or follow us on Linkedin for the latest opportunities.
