Overview
Newstaff are currently recruiting for a Ground Engineer to work for a specialist contractor based in Milton Keynes You will be dealing with subsidence and re-levelling (lifting) of buildings through non-disruptive or intrusive methods with low to no business interruption The methods include Injection of either Cementitious Grouts or Expansive Resins through small diameter holes to treat the soil beneath the structure They work in all sectors but primarily Residential, Commercial and Infrastructure all across the country You will be working as part of a team on site attending to small and large projects all across the country, not just Milton Keynes Day to day travel is required and from time to time overnight stays are necessary depending on where the work is located. The company will provide accommodation as required We are looking for several enthusiastic individuals for this role that want to get in at the early stages and have the chance to grow with the business Daily activities / responsibilities will include: Travel to various sites to inject the specialised materials and raise buildings Take active part in assisting the site team to complete each project efficiently with good customer focus Take delivery and restock materials and equipment Look after and maintain the vehicles and equipment Keeping vehicles and work area clean and tidy Requirements for the role: The ability to perform physical tasks (lifting and carrying, using hammer drills) Good verbal communication Able to work as part of a team Clean tidy appearance - at all times CSCS card Be 25 years or over for insurance reasons Driver licence – Car Ideally come from a construction or engineering background understanding basic construction principles Having some mechanical experience (no stranger to a spanner) Ability to learn, Attention to detail, Energetic, Flexible, Good timekeeper Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am start till finish (depending on location of your working day) Pay: £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89822701
