Job Title: Lead DevOps Engineer Salary: Up to £60k Location: Exeter Acorn is working in a recruitment partnership with a software consultancy based in Exeter, we are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take a leading role within the DevOps team. Their current tech stack includes Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, SQL Server, DynamoDB, Mongodb in an AWS hosted environment. As Lead DevOps Engineer you will be providing hands-on technical support for our web platforms and systems, architect new web delivery solutions. Responsibilities Include: Systems Development - providing input on technical architecture as well as developing and implementing applications into the organisations CI environment. Help drive the entire platform and systems management life cycle from design through to deployment. Taking a leading role in active projects, mentoring and supporting the more junior staff. We are ideally looking for someone with the following: High level of experience with at least 1 cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google). CI tools Octopus, Ansible, Jenkins etc. Scripting experience ideally Java but other high level languages will be considered. Exposure to large scale complex application deployment projects.
