About the role Supporting our Case Preparation and Presentation department, you will manager our Monitoring and Compliance team and ensure all referrals are progressed to a high standard and in line with our timescales. As the team manager you will have overall responsibility for the performance of a diverse team where functions will include the reviews of substantive order, monitoring of undertakings and responsibility for restoration applications. Utilising your team management experience you will provide guidance and support to the case officers and senior case officers, where you will provide advice of cases to make sure we are keeping to our agreed timelines. The team forms a part of the wider Fitness to Practise process, and you will be required as the manager to set up and maintain working relationships across the directorate to ensure matrix management of cases where a person cantered approach is at the heart of all of our work. Skills and experience required Demonstrable experience of staff management, including setting team and individual objectives. Experience of managing high volumes of work within strict timeframes. Proven experience of stakeholder management and engagement. Experience of using management information to identify adherence to targets and to prepare reports. Significant experience of motivating and coaching others in order to meet targets. Fitness to Practise New Ways of Working We are changing the way we do things.
