This could be what you're looking for This highly successful, award winning architecture firm are looking for someone to join their Projects and Finance team as a Junior Project Analyst. The Junior Project Analyst (JPA) reports to the Projects and Finance Systems Accountant (P&FSA) and ultimately to the Finance Director. The JPA’s primary responsibility is to assist and support the P&FSA in providing the accurate and timely management (and financial) reporting required by the Practice. Key duties…. Updating and maintaining the job costing system using Paprika and i2 (web browser interface). Second line of support for all Architects’ enquiries relating to i2. Assisting the Project Analyst with i2 training for staff on timesheets and expenses. Database Maintenance Ensuring that the Company systems/databases are in line for work stages, clients, suppliers, projects and resources (being Paprika, Cascade, Newforma). Setting up all new projects and work stages. Setting up new joiners, including staff purchase ledger accounts. Ensuring data validation and naming conventions are consistent when setting up projects, work stages and resources Updating construction values, project architects, ADs Data Collection and Validation Ensuring the data returns reliable information for analysing job performance and resources. Supporting, monitoring, checking and processing monthly timesheets, this includes prompting Architects to update any missing timesheets. Ensuring resources studio, start date, leaving date, working hours are in line with Cascade Producing monthly reconciliation of timesheets FTEs against payroll FTEs. Weekly import of holiday time from Cascade into Paprika databases. Assisting to produce weekly resource forecast analysis by project, staff members, studio and company level for weekly SA & PRM Studio Resource Meetings and for Senior Architects. Assisting review of projects status (i.e. Live, On Hold, Closed). Assisting with daily updating on Paprika with budgeted fees and recharge’s. Creating weekly Sales Invoice pdf’s. Supporting the Sales Ledger Clerks to prepare timely and accurate sales invoices against the correct work stage. Assisting with the monthly time charge reports and reconciliations for time charge projects. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ( OR SOMEBODY WHO IS WILLING TO LEARN ) Data modelling (essential) Advance Excel (essential)  Advance Formulae Pivot Tables Macros Basic understanding of the Sales and Purchase Ledger Basic understanding of the P&L and BS Basic understanding of VAT Think you have the Excel and natural flair with numbers they need?
