IT Service Desk Manager | Manchester | Up to £33,000 DOE Your new company A well-established and reputable office and property management company Your new role Leading a team of five service desk technicians, you will ensure the IT Service Desk provides excellent assistance to colleagues as well as offering advice on ways to work smarter. Monitoring the desk to ensure that tickets are resolved within set timescales and updated with the correct information You will be able to identify trends in the service desk queries and proactively make recommendations to improve or change certain processes You will be accountable for the IT Service Desk and its team, taking a strategic approach to IT Service Delivery, developing reports that provide context around KPI's and SLA's What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in an IT Service Desk management role, with a strong background of leading, mentoring and developing service desk teams Outstanding communication and organisational skills Hands on experience of help desk and remote-control software Customer service oriented with a problem-solving attitude Solid technical background with the ability to communicate instructions to a non-technical audience Conversant in ITIL processes, procedures and roles Relevant technical qualifications What you'll get in return A good salary package of up to £3,000 DOE 25 days holiday plus your birthday off Option to buy and sell holidays Life Assurance Free healthy breakfast Enhanced maternity and paternity pay …and more What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
