Sheltered Housing Coordinator
Overview
Scheme Manager / Sheltered Housing Coordinator required in Chesterfield. Your new company A well known Housing Association is looking for a Scheme Manager to join them in the Chesterfield area for up to 6 months. You will be working 20 hours per week on a rota basis. This role requires an immediate start. Your new role In your new role as a scheme manager you will be based at a sheltered housing scheme where you will be helping tenants from the age of 55 with day to day support you will be helping with signposting, the running of the scheme, reporting any health and safety issues, reporting any safeguarding and also being there to speak to and to give regular support such as speaking to the tenants and making sure of their general well being. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this role you must have prior experience in working within a sheltered scheme or offering general emotional support to tenants. You must have some knowledge regarding safeguarding and health and safety within a sheltered environment, you will also hold experience in support planning and generally be someone who tenants will feel at ease with approaching and being able to offer your services whether this is for a general talk or to helping resolve complaints. You must hold a valid enhanced DBS and be a driver with access to a car aswell as a valid first aid qualification.
