An IT Operations Engineer position is available, working for an expanding Software company within Financial Services, paying up to £60,000 benefits, based in Wimbledon, London. An IT Operations Engineer opening has been created to help build a new DevOps function within this Cloud/SaaS based Software company as they expand their UK operations internationally. With automation experience and strong technical background, you will take a vital role, taking ownership on elements of the continuous delivery pipeline, automating the delivery of infrastructure components, management of the platform servers (physical and virtual). The IT Operations Engineer will be the part of the technical authority for all IT infrastructure, focusing on automation of hosting platforms in datacentres and cloud locations. The role will include technical leadership and the design, delivery and operation of highly available enterprise infrastructure solutions using physical and virtualised systems, multiple cloud platforms, data centres, all within a CI/CD environment.
