Overview

Working for one of the UK’s largest national charities, the Head of Retail Finance will play a key strategic role for the organisation. The Retail area for the charity has an annual turnover of close to £100m and is a vital source of income. Leading a team of 7 finance staff, the role will provide strategic and operational leadership in the following areas: Financial planning and modelling Production of Retail monthly accounts Financial Analysis of the Retail Business Management of the annual budgetary process and the consolidation of the budgets into groups overall budget and business plan Production of monthly/quarterly forecast figures Production of statutory accounts for the charities Trading Limited, liaising directly with the external auditors You will need to be: A fully qualified accountant with a depth of retail sector professional experience gained in a senior finance post Be a natural partner to executive and non finance stakeholders Have a strength in both strategic analysis and decision support as well as oversight of the month end activities Be passionate about working for a charity and care about the impact the charity has Key Timings: The deadline is Sunday 12th April 1st stage interview will be held the end of week commencing 13th April 2nd stage formal interview will be held the end of week commencing 20th April
