Summary The Client Manager has the primary task of controlling the workflow on a portfolio of clients, dealing with technical queries as they arise and completing quality control reviews in a timely and accurate fashion. This requires technical knowledge, attention to detail and an ability to organise the workloads of others. The Client Manager is a key individual in building and maintaining strong relationships with key individuals at the client. Job Description The more detailed services completed by the Client Manager are: The review of VAT returns and registrations, management reports, payment runs, and the client billing process. Dealing with queries as they arise and provision of these deliverables in an accurate and timely way. The implementation of new clients with and without the support of senior management. Being the primary contact with senior client contacts, typically Financial Controllers and CFO level who will be based overseas along with the clients UK based operational team. Key responsibilities and skills Confident in communicating both in writing and over the phone with staff of differing level of seniority including at third parties such as auditors and HM Revenue & Customs. Ability to build strong relationships with our clients and our internal teams. People are at the heart of our business and a successful candidate will demonstrate leadership skills and act as a mentor and role model for more junior team members including the ability to develop their technical and soft skills alongside delivering work of the highest quality. Requirements Have experience within a business services or similar client service team in practice. Good technical knowledge of management accounts and VAT returns. Be seeking to develop your interpersonal and technical skills to the stage where you consistently demonstrate that you are delivering excellent client service.
