Assistant Financial Accountant Role - Central London - Globe Business - 40-50k Your new company A global Real Estate business with approximately 50,000 employees in 400 offices in 70 different countries, the company held record revenues last financial year and hit 8.2billion dollars across its core services. The business prides themselves on exceptional services which include property and facilities management, valuations and leasing. The company are now expanding its finance team and looking for you to join them on their next adventure Your new role The role reports into the statutory reporting manager which is part of a wider finance function of 30 heads. The role will include the following duties: Ensuring all VAT payments are recorded accurately Completion of VAT returns (monthly and quarterly) Carrying out of EC Sales list Resolving any VAT related issues and European Tax issues This is an exciting role for someone to join the business and pursue their career in financial accounting. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional environment with a keen interest in commercial real estate. Further requirements for this role include, Part Qualified or Finalist level in ACCA or ACA/CIMA, ownership of VAT returns and reporting. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of European Taxation.
