Overview
An award winning company who manufacture light transportation vehicles who have been trading over 60 years seeking a Project Engineer for their busy operations. They supply over 50 countries around the world. The company offer a friendly environment to work in with a culture of professionalism but with a sense of having fun at work, having a sense of humour but getting the job done at the same time The main duties of the role; To take responsibility of the preparation, planning and execution of projects in line with the company quality management system Co-ordinate and collaborate with management, design, procurement, production and quality to deliver the project to customer satisfaction within cost and budgets Preparation and maintenance of key project documentation such as timing plans, theory of operation, design risk assessments, outstanding issues lists, product manuals, bill of materials and so on Liaise with internal procurement and suppliers regarding both technical and commercial matters- raise RFQ's and PO's as required Management of BOM's Visit customers and suppliers (UK & further afield) to co-ordinate project deliverables as may be required from time to time I would be keen to receive CV's from Project Engineers or Managers who hold the following skills and expertise; Needs to have real world engineering in their DNA - needs to be passionate about engineering and have demonstrable practical experience - with evidence, either professionally or personally - e.g restoring kit cars/tractors/motorbikes Evidence of having led custom design projects from concept to delivery Demonstrated ability to work on multiple parallel projects/activities Read and fully understanding engineering drawings and standards Able and prepared to travel nationally and internationally Hold a valid driving license The company is based in Alcester so is commutable from Redditch, Stratford upon Avon, Solihull, Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Worcester.
