Overview

We are a fast-growing company within the digital advertising arena and provide technology and support to a large proportion of the companies operating in the digital out of home (DOOH) arena. We believe that the digital out of home space will soon require the same kind of data and accountability as the online advertising space and we are at the forefront of making that a reality. We are at a pivot time in our growth cycle having completed the year with record revenues and profits and would like a smart and hungry former consultant to work closely with our Senior Leadership Team to help us with our plans to take our business to the next level. The role will involve supporting line managers with generalist HR support. You will also be heavily involved in the global expansion in our tech platform (UniLIVE) which is already providing accountability for over 50% of the advertising campaigns in the UK. This is a great opportunity to help with process and projects which have key strategic importance to the company as we grow. Description Key Driver - Recruitment and on-boarding a) Leading human resource activity to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business b) Managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns c) Ensuring compliance, systems and processes reflect the Key Driver - Employee Relations a) Employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness b) Ensuring all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law and ensuring line managers are up to date with any change in policy Key Driver - Learning & Development a) Providing guidance on development for managers and their teams b) Coaching managers on performance management issues and processes c) Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement Key Driver - Growth Strategy a) Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement b) Support CEO with key communications Competencies Skills MS Office suite (all to an advanced level) Analytical and problem solving Superb communication honed-in business partnering/advisory roles Knowledge An HR manager will be expected to hold a bachelors’ degree, and have tangible experience in the field. You will also be expected to hold a CIPD accredited (or equivalent) qualification. Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team Ability to represent the HR function as part of the bigger business picture Confident directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development. Strong understanding of employment law A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals Demonstrable experience in managing TUPE, redundancy or other relevant HR projects Behaviours Self-motivated and diligent Enthusiastic and reliable, sense of urgency to address issues Detail orientated and organised Creative thinking and the ability to seek innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.
