Overview
My client is highly successful rapidly growing financial services business with a network of offices. They are seeking a Training & Competency Manager to provide best in class training and development across the organisation. The Training & Competency Manager will undertake activities which will support and maintain the organisations regulatory Training and Competence schemes. The T&C lead will be required to manage and develop of the wider T&C team and take a lead role in driving key team initiatives. Key Responsibility will include: Take a lead role in representing the T&C team across the company, its management teams and manage external relationships. Manage the development, support and maintenance of all T&C policies, training programmes and subsequent documentation of events. Evaluate the training conducted by the team, making adjustments for the future as required. Log and coordinate the investigation and outcomes of all T&C breaches and incidents. Work closely with HR leadership Learning & Development to ensure the team focus is aligned with the regulatory and training needs of the company. Ability to travel to Birmingham and other Regional offices is essential. Qualifications At least 5 years knowledge and experience of T&C within the financial services sector including leadership experience. Ability to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment and its impact on FCA T&C Regulations. Qualified to at least QCF Level 4 is highly desirable
