Assistant Shift Managers £32,000 to £38,000 & Benefits Continental Shift Pattern - days only Oxford As a business we continue to experience rapid growth through increased sales, brand development and acquisition To maintain our growth and ambition we have embarked on a huge investment at this site with automation, robotics and a desire to have a state-of-the-art production centre. .But we can’t do that without your help. Due to this growth we are currently recruiting Assistant Shift Managers Focus on the key performance indicators (KPIs) identified by the General Manager, and work towards achieving and surpassing agreed targets Working closely with the engineering team, agree and implement improvements to the process to maximise machine productivity, minimise down-time and ensure that hygiene operations do not impact negatively on machinery Plan production runs to minimise waste, maximise product life, meet customer dispatch times, and achieve the best possible throughput Communicate new promotional activity to the team, and plan ahead to anticipate future demands on the production process Conduct regular team briefs with direct reports Drive product quality, integrity and traceability. Ensure work is completed to a high-standard, and all necessary documentation is completed Work in conjunction with central / QA teams to implement legislative changes / management system updates Ensure the team work to the required procedures and instructions in relation to HACCP procedures You Have a background as a shift manager or shift supervisor or production lead Have a motivational approach that gets results Be able to adapt to different methods Want an opportunity to develop your career As a business we will consider candidates from a variety of background including automotive, engineering, manufacturing and food production.
