Overview
Role: Fire Risk Assessor Sector: Public Sector Housing Location: London & South East Day Rate: £300 - £350 I am working with leading property and construction consultancy who are currently recruiting for fire risk assessors to work on a variety of residential projects in the public sector. My client have long standing established relationships with a number of large G15 housing associations and local authorities and require experienced and competent fire safety professionals to conduct type 1 risk assessments on their housing stock. The ideal candidates will be able to deliver large scale fire risk assessment programmes and associated remedial works for all types of social housing, from simple general needs blocks, care and support, sheltered accommodation, HMO and high rises throughout London & South East. My client require people both on a contract and permanent basis to help deliver this service to a high standard. What you’ll need to succeed: Graduate Member of IFE (minimum) or Associate of IFSM (minimum) Minimum 3/4 years experience of undertaking fire risk assessments, with experience of conducting residential fire risk assessments. Previous experience of 'Fire Safety' application in the Fire Service or Building Control (desirable) Fire safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Fire, CFPA Diploma or equivalent In return my client offers a competitive day rate in the region of £300 - £350 per day and scope for progression throughout the businesses structure.
