Overview
Our Client based in Milton Keynes is currently looking for an additional Workshop Fitter to carry out repairs on their products. KEY TASKS To use provided training to carry out electrical and mechanical repairs on tools and accessories as instructed by manager or senior technician in a timely manner and at an agreed productivity rate. To accurately record repair information on computerised systems and to maintain the high quality expected by our client and their customers. To maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment, ensuring that health and safety procedures are adhered to. To ensure a high level of quality, efficiency and consistency with the repairs & servicing of our clients tools SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES Become proficient in repairing our clients range of cordless machines. At all times be responsible for the safety of yourself, other staff and visitors, in and around your immediate work area. Ensure all repair job information is correctly entered onto BPCS. Inspect, diagnose, and repair our clients tools and products in a timely manner. Carrying out other duties as directed by line manager. Assist with identifying specific product concerns/technical issues and raising with your senior technician. Follow department processes and procedures. To assist in performing any additional assignments and duties as required by the needs of the Business as directed by your line manager. This may occasionally involve additional hours being worked. Maintaining required standards of uniform and behaviour, as required in the company disciplinary code.
