Overview
Connect2Hampshire are currently recruiting for a Registered General Nurse to work in one of our Adult Nursing Units based in Winchester and surrounding areas. At Connect2Hampshire, we work directly with Hampshire County Council, to fill all agency roles across the Council's care homes, respite and day centres. By working through us, you will be notified of job opportunities before any other recruitment agency are Key requirements -NMC pin registration -Degree/ Diploma of Higher Education -Experience of working in a nursing environment or similar health care setting as a Registered General Nurse This role will involve; As the Registered General Nurse on site, you will be reporting to the Unit Manager, and will be responsible for having a high standard of nursing for a designated number of residents in the care homes. You will be required to administer medication in line with NMC, and provide efficient handover to staff. You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in order to document and record keep efficiently. It is desirable that you have a compassionate nature, and be able to build rapport with residents and their families. You should also be able to work well in a team, and be able to deliver an exceptional level of care safely and in a compliant manner. As a Registered Nurse, you will need to show competences of working in a similar position previously and be able to provide evidence of a NMC pin registration.
