This is a brand new opportunity for a Data Analyst to join a growing team within an Ecommerce business based in Central London, they are investing heavily in their data team both in terms of hiring and technology. They use the AWS stack - Redshift, Kineses, Firehose making use of AWS Lambda but you don't need to be an expert to be considered - all we are looking from the Data Analyst is a good grounding in Python (including APIs) and SQL (queries and manipulating data) - the rest you will learn on the job This team collects huge amounts of data at every step of a customer journey through their platform and even every update the development team deploys, the scale of the data available is mind-boggling and growing every hour of every day. If you are a Data Analyst looking to learn your craft you could not ask for a better environment, in terms of both the technology and support you will receive. Once they have tackled the major engineer problems this teams will focus more on the data science so in the future you will also pick up skills using the Python and R and libraries like pandas, scikit and NumPy. Working in this team will help you explore all areas of Data Engineering and Data Science.
