The Role The Supply Planner Manufacturing is accountable for the delivery of a 13-week supply plan to enable production and delivery, by the relevant breweries, of finished product that supports the target levels of product availability to AHL customers. Where necessary this may require optimising conflicting objectives of working capital, quality and stock obsolescence. Key Responsibilities: Take the formal Demand Plan and translate into the mid-term (13-week) Supply Plan (Rough Cut Capacity Plan), working closely with relevant breweries and Demand Planning colleagues to ensure excellent service levels whilst managing overall inventory value Support the long term planning processes, for example during the annual budget process, ensuring there is a Supply Plan over a rolling 18-24-month horizon Manage to, and/or recommend appropriate inventory parameters taking in to account inventory targets, product lead-time, customer service requirements and forecast accuracy/volatility. Communication of Supply constraints as part of an overall Supply Review to enable best possible customer service, or decisions to made on customer allocations Cross-functional relationship management, including supply breweries, ABEG Central Planning Desk, local site Production Schedulers, local Supply Chain team and wider AIL business where necessary Produce brewery efficiency management reporting e.g. actual production versus plan. Instigate any corrective action with supplying breweries to ensure continuous improvement of the production planning process e.g. communication lead times, minimum order quantities. Managing product quality concerns related to production with the supplying breweries, driving corrective action and processing agreed claims against the brewery Responsible for ensuring all new products and changes to products are managed with the supplying breweries to project timelines whilst redundant packaging and finished goods write off is minimised during product changes. Responsible for SKU master data set-up and maintenance Maintaining and developing all relevant Training & Induction material for the Brewery / ABEG supply planning function including all Operating Procedure documentation We would love to hear from you if you have: Substantial supply planning, sales and operational planning experience in an FMCG environment Advanced Excel for reporting and analysis A background and understanding of planning tools and systems, knowledge of SAP, Adaptive Planning and SO99 being advantageous Proven people management experience Excellent project management skills Customer or supplier relationship management experience Quality Assurance experience advantageous Degree is essential, preferably in a relevant area What You Get?
