QC Analyst Liverpool 12 month contract (high chance of extension/transfer to permanent) Pay Rate 11.02-13.78/hour Start ASAP Multiple Positions Are you an experienced analyst working with HPLC or GC? Or are you a confident chemistry graduate looking for your first industry role? A global pharmaceutical business is looking to recruit multiple analysts to work within their testing laboratories in Liverpool. The roles will be 12 month contracts involved in the testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished product. Due to the client looking to fill multiple roles they are interested in hearing from experienced analysts as well as new graduates. The role/s: - Carrying out testing using GC, HPLC and wet chemistry methods - Logging of new samples and reviewing test results - Working to cGMP within an established team - Ensuring smooth running of the laboratory You: - Will either be a new graduate with a degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, keen to apply your knowledge into an industrial role - or an experienced Laboratory Technician or Analyst - Experience with HPLC , GC or wet chemistry would be advantageous - Prior experience from the pharmaceutical industry working to GMP standards would be advantageous - For this position it is key that you are a driven individual, keen to support the release of products and introduction of new products to the market. The company: A leading pharmaceutical business, focused on the delivery of products to support the healthcare market. The laboratory team is a large business unit with over 50 staff, the sub-teams each work within a specialist area. The laboratories themselves introduce new equipment on a regular basis and are well serviced premises. The laboratory staff work standard hours of 8-4 and offer flexi time for any hours worked over those stated.
