CareTech Fostering Services provide children and young people unable to live with their family safe, secure and nurturing foster placements. Meeting the needs and aspirations of children is at the heart of everything we do Outlook Contact Services are sourcing Sessional Support Workers on a self-employed zero hour basis to join our current team As a Sessional Support Worker you will offer support to the lead Person / Contact Supervisor, take the lead in Supervised Contacts Key Qualities Friendly, passionate and caring nature Positive, pleasant and approachable Empowering others to become stronger and more confident in controlling their lives Person Centred, allowing our children to explore & utilise their own strengths Innovative, by using or showing new methods and ideas Able to work in a challenging environment To have a sense of humour Key Responsibilities Safely Transport Children or Young People to meetings / contacts and any other activities Ensure your transport meets legal and agency Health & Safety requirements To observe and implement the agency’s Child Protection and Safe Guarding Policies and Procedures Report Concerns to line manager, especially safeguarding Support Children & Young People in maintaining contact with birth families and siblings Undertake supervised contact with Children’s Families To Liaise with Foster Carers To understand Family Law Able to work unsocial hours on an Adhoc basis Benefits & Reward £10.00 per hour 30 pence per mile Applicants must live no longer than 30 minute drive from office Work from home Dedicated learning and development programmes Access to a wide range of free online courses for all staff on a variety of topic Free DBS check Refer a friend scheme’ reward system - earn up to £250 per referral Annual Employee Awards Evening Employee recognition schemes CareTech Foundation- Opportunity to apply for family & friend’s grants.
