Overview

1st OR 2nd Line Support (considered), Systems Engineer, Hardware Configuration (Biometric scanners etc), Device configuration, Zendesk/ BMC Remedy, Network Administration, troubleshooting, Remote Access. An exciting SaaS company in London are looking for either a 1st, or 2nd Line Support/Systems Engineer to cover a wide range of support duties and device configuration/maintenance of time and attendance terminals and their bespoke software package. Key Responsibilities: Maintain a high degree of customer service and take responsibility/ownership for hardware and software support queries from start to finish, escalating if necessary, to the Biometrics & Support Manager Configure and ship hardware to customer sites for rollouts or warranty swap Maintain our internal systems for monitoring customer devices and responding to site downs or wider outages Support and maintain internal phone, IT systems and printers Accurate logging and records keeping of incoming and outgoing hardware Visiting sites across the UK to install/resolve hardware issues Network and software configuration of internal devices Solving customer issues remotely where possible Skills: Required IT Support experience on a service desk platform such as Zendesk/BMC Remedy Hardware & Device Configuration Remote access and resolution via RDP Network administration and troubleshooting including firewalls, switches/routers etc. Excellent communication skills Accuracy and attention to detail Configuration of IP devices Ability to work flexibly and be adaptable Experience of installing equipment at customer sites Desired · Experience of JIRA Software · Previous biometric technology/time and attendance experience · Microsoft Server experience · Microsoft SQL experience · MS Excel experience · SDK building This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89735299
