Project Engineer - Track 6 Month Contract – to start immediately £360/day Ltd - £420/day Umbrella Based in Glasgow Our client is a well established Nationwide Rail company whose professionalism and well respected name have been instrumental in their success. You will be carrying out the Project Engineer (Track) role in accordance with NR/L2/INI/02009 and as part of a team of multi-discipline engineers within the project environment. You will need: Railway permanent way engineer with project experience, delivering across the project GRIP lifecycle with proven detailed knowledge and experience of delivering multi-functional projects/programmes. Detailed and working knowledge of legislation and standards supporting the delivery of railway infrastructure projects including NR standards and Railway Group standards, with particular focus on Track-orientated standards. Appreciation of Inclusive Design, CDM regulations, Common Safety Method (CSM-RA), iELC and Technical Specifications for Interoperability and associated Authorisations as applied to railway projects Strong permanent way skills Good communication skills The Role: Typically carrying out the role of Project Engineer in accordance with NR/L2/INI/02009 for a particular scheme or schemes).
