Overview
Due to our client winning high amounts of work for CP6 we are looking for a signalling principle tester. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join their signalling office, work with some of the latest signalling equipment on the market and be part of a growing team with a great working ethos. Working for one of the biggest contractors in the rail sector globally, you will be responsible for testing and the delivery of projects at hand.We are looking for a signalling principle tester who specialises in data and has been signed off as complex in principle testing. Within this role you will be working in a team managed by the data testing manager which you may be responsible for managing a team up to 4 signalling testers. You will be allocated projects by the testing manager where you will be responsible in delivering the projects on time.Our client is looking for an individual who is driven and is looking for a new challenge, with multiple projects available you can be sure you will be put to the test. Being a principle tester we are looking for an individual who is knowledgeable in this area but also someone who has the attributes to build and manage a team.Being a Data Principle Tester our client will offer development and training if required.Roles and Responsibilities:Ensuring signalling projects testing(Principle data) is managed and delivered on time to the client's standardsResponsible for the complete testing of the signalling schemeSupporting commissioning requirements requiredManage and motivate staff in your teamProvide forecasts of data testing and resource requirements Liaise with the project team for potential resolution and supportComply with all relevant health and safety measures in all activities undertakenEssential:Principle testing experience Competent with complex works in principle testing We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
