Overview
We are currently looking for various Site Engineers on a contract basis to come from a Highways background working on the M4 junction 3-12 with the projects office being based within the Reading area. Within the role you will work on earthworks, Drainage, and junction junctions improvement undertaking the Setting Out. The purposed of the role is to undertake Site Engineering control and implementation of works on site, including monitoring and reporting of progress. As the Site Engineer your duties may be, but not limited too: Setting out from primary control provided by othersRead and determine information from drawings, schedules and specificationProduction of Task Briefing SheetsContribution to production of Permit to Dig, including briefing to the workforceCarries out associated briefingsCarries out Safety InspectionsHazard Identification and contribution to development of Safe System of Work Job Requirements Setting out techniques ability to use level & EDM, plus GPSHolds a current driving license and CSCS CardStrong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours/nightsStrong understanding of construction tolerances As mentioned, this is a contract position based in the Reading area and the role is inside of IR35.
