Overview

Project Manager required for a procurement technology implementation in Government. £500 pd outside IR35 PLEASE NOTE - ONLY APPLICANTS WITH CURRENT AND ACTIVE SC OR DV CLEARANCE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE. Your new company A prominent Ministerial Government Department is undertaking a range of technology upgrades, as part of a digital transformation. As part of this, there is an opportunity for security cleared Project Manager to shape and deploy the implementation of new Supplier Relationship Management and Risk Management software. Your new role As a Project Manager leading this implementation, you will be creating the project plan and leading the implementation over an initial six month period. You will provide technical insight and direction while overseeing the development of project plans, roadmaps and business cases. Your responsibilities will also include leading and coordinating all aspects of project delivery, ensuring all in-scope services are implemented in agreed timeframes, on budget, and according to the requirements of key stakeholders and various business units. You will work collaboratively with the teams across the business to aid in the adaptation of the new platforms into their everyday. Scope projects, understand business benefits and deliver to business specifications Develop and implement business plans and project management plans Contribute to the development and delivery of projects within key programs of work in the business transformation portfolio Manage project teams to ensure delivery of project outcomes Manage the effective governance of the project with related senior stakeholders and ensure appropriate evaluation of progress, quality, cost activities and escalation as necessary. Supervise program activities and resources to deliver agreed outputs. Managing expectations for project deliverables, stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance. What you'll need to succeed To ensure your success, you will have demonstrated experience delivering Supplier Relationship Management / Risk Management / Procurement Technology projects, from designing project solutions to managing their execution. Applicants who have delivered large CRMs may also be considered. You will have a thorough understanding of application management, transition services and various implantation methodologies. You will also possess excellent financial awareness and analytical skills and a track record of effectively managing complex stakeholder relationships with the ability to influence.
