Overview
Milk creates award winning visual effects for film and television and is based in Fitzrovia. Overview The HR & Recruitment Administrator’s main duties include managing and maintaining personnel records, updating internal databases and implementing recruitment strategies. Ultimately, the role involves ensuring the HR department supports our employees while conforming to employment laws. The HR & Recruitment Administrator is the first point of contact for all HR and recruitment related queries. Responsibilities • Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation. • Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment, contract extensions and provide monthly sickness absence reports. • To monitor probation end, setting in review dates for managers and issuing probation end emails to employees. • Administer and assist with the co-ordination of various processes such as recruitment, new starters, leavers, induction, annual leave requests etc. • Contact candidates, liaising with recruitment agencies where necessary, set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence. • Assist with performance review and termination process • Organise any training and development for staff. • Assist in the appraisal process. • Ensure reference checks are obtained prior to issuing offer letters and contracts. The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as required by your changing role within Milk VFX and the overall business objectives of Milk VFX. Reports to: HR & Business Affairs Director Essential Skills • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to multi-task and prioritize • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner. Desirable Skills • Some understanding of the VFX Pipeline • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role.
