Over the last 4 years, my client have enjoyed a meteoric rise in their eCommerce business, and have transitioned from a small, to one of Dubai's most talked about Tech / eCommerce Companies. The culture is still very entrepreneurial and flexible (Start Up) however and most importantly, results driven - T ech strategies are extremely important for the company's success so this hands-on role will be crucial in achieving their business goals and objectives. As a Head of Technology you'll have experience and a huge passion for technologies related to ecommerce, always ensuring my client is ahead of the curve when it comes to global ecommerce practices. The ideal candidate for this Head of Technology vacancy will be seeking a move ultimately up towards CTO / Technical Director level, and have a proven background tech back ground a Lead Software Architect / Developer within the a StartUp or eCommerce org along with a strong level of core infrastructure expertise / Devops and AWS Requirements & Qualifications Demonstrated experience as a CTO / Head of Technology / Head of Engineering / Engineering Manager 8-10 years of experience in developing and implementing Technology strategies In depth knowledge of Technical Architecture, Serverless and Data-Driven patterns Experience managing remote and diverse teams from different cultures, countries and backgrounds Passion for people management and for setting up best practices around a healthy team culture Strong drive for devOps, CI / CD and infrastructure as code Knowledge of GCP, gSuite, the Atlassian suite and AWS will be considered a plus Experience working with start-up companies Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Creative and innovate My client is high energy, go-go-go and truly excited about what they do every day Their dedication and drive to deliver exceptional product and services for their customers is in their DNA so your spark will need to shine extra bright as a leader on our senior leadership team.
