Overview

My client, a large manufacturing business based in Rugby, is currently recruiting a fantastic opportunity for a Group Finance Manager to join their function as they embark on an exciting period of corporate development. You will be ambitious, have a great attention to detail and be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic business. Alongside this, you will enjoy working as part of a team, getting stuck in across multiple areas within the finance function and not be afraid to bring new ideas to the table. This business plans for this role to grow and develop, offering you exposure to all aspects of this tech-driven and innovative company. If you display the right behaviours there is clear progression to a Controller's role in the medium term future. Key responsibilities will include: Leading all Financial Accounting activities, ensuring that all month end financial reporting is processed in a timely and accurate manner. Leading on the production of the statutory accounts (IFRS) and tax reporting Ensure that all financial reports are in line with both internal and external controls frameworks. Lead on the production of the Group Consolidated accounts for 7 business units. Support the business with advice on the adoption of new IFRS standards and their ramifications. Contribute to the wider performance of the finance team, taking a lead on process and system improvement activities. To be considered for this role you must be: A Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) with experience in financial accounting including the production of statutory accounts, ideally within a plc environment. Ideally but not essentially, you will also have experience: In the manufacturing sector and of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
