Senior Finance Manager Based: Blackburn Salary: highly dependent on experience. Excellent benefits and chance to progress Our client is a leading business based in the heart of Blackburn. A growing group of SMEs operating in manufacturing, engineering, property and distribution they are looking for a qualified Finance Manager to join them in a new position to help expand their current operations. This role requires a forward thinking Finance Manager who is proactive in their approach and able to work autonomously. Role: Working alongside Finance Director and Managing Director assisting with driving business growth Overseeing new finance business operations across Europe Producing rolling cash flow forecasting and monitoring actuals vs forecast Identifying and processing monthly accruals and prepayments Producing monthly management accounts, commentary, analysis and P&L within company subsidiaries Balance sheet reconciliations, overseeing all ledgers ensuring up to date Responsibility for groups monthly management accounts reporting pack Assisting with annual budget preparations, forecasts and rolling forecasts Weekly and monthly reporting on business sales information Business partnering internally with key department heads monitoring spend, spend to budget and areas for savings and improvements Managing all external relationships - banks, auditors etc. Covering for daily accounting functions - ledgers, payroll etc when required Ad hoc projects internally with the Finance Director Experience: ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified accountant with post qual experience Manufacturing/engineering experience highly desirable Exposure to accounting within European markets highly desirable Please send your CV for immediate consideration
