Contractor Engagement Advisor Job Location: Dorking, Surrey Job Type: 6 months fixed term contract with potential to go permanent Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 DOE Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm free onsite parking We are working with a well-established Global Engineering Consultancy who are currently seeking an ambitious Contractor Engagement Advisor to join their busy, dynamic and friendly Recruitment Team based at their Dorking office. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading company where you will be responsible for coordinating and organising appropriate contractors for the business. Within this fast paced, varied position your duties will include liaising with hiring managers within the business to establish contractor requirements and criteria; working with Recruitment Business Partners to identify suitable contractors and assisting with HR related duties which will include coordinating security clearance, organising contracts, inductions and negotiating budgets. Organising suitable contractors is vital to the smooth running of this business so we are seeking a hardworking, talented individual who would like to work in-house and play a key part in the supply chain and on-boarding process. Some of your duties will include: Working closely with Engineering and Business Managers to identify contractor requirements for the next 3 / 6 months Budget negotiation with hiring managers Sourcing suitable candidates for contractor opportunities using a variety of recruitment platforms Reviewing CV’s submitted, sending them to appropriate stakeholder(s) and arranging interviews Negotiation and preparation of Associate agreements Negotiation of agency rates and preparation of agency agreements Organising the on-boarding process including organising all relevant facilities and IT resources for each contractor, coordinating security clearance process and organising contractor inductions Administration duties including the preparation of contractor purchase orders, preparing contracts and maintaining accurate records and registers of all personal data relating to contractors This position would suit a really good Administrator / Coordinator who has come from a Recruitment / HR background working on temps / contractors / permanent placements.
