Overview
Infrastructure engineer Infrastructure Engineer required to join a Leading Software company based in Vauxhall Bridge. The infrastructure engineer would detail-oriented, proficient with technologies and hardware. You should have good communication and collaboration skills, excellent analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills, and an extensive knowledge of data laws. Ideally, you will also have experience in project management and giving professional presentations. The company also have aspiration to move into a DveOp's environment so being passionate about helping them through their transition would be key. You will establish configuration management, automate infrastructure, implement continuous integration, and train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve their goal. Day to day duties Installing and maintaining operating environments. Monitoring these operating environments. Responding effectively and speedily to any problems. Maintaining a professional demeanour with clients and colleagues. Providing training and support. Ensuring operating environments stay safe and secure. Updating any software and hardware where necessary. Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response. Monitor, diagnose and resolve problems with key IT systems to ensure systems work efficiently. To provide 3rd line technical support. Provide technical expertise for 1st and 2nd line IT support staff, sharing technical knowledge. Key Skills.
