Overview
Data Engineer - London SearchDATA is currently looking to recruit a Data Engineer to help influence data strategy for a growing B2B Marketing business based in central London. Within this role you will work closely with the internal media teams and help the organisation take meaningful insight from the data coming through the business to provide a competitive advantage. What we can offer: Basic Salary of £40-45k Highly flexible working arrangements with the opportunity to work up to 3 days from home, potentially more if you live further away from London 25 days bank holiday 1 day extra holiday for every additional year served Buy/Sell holiday scheme for up to an additional 5 days Cashback health plan Team outings Travel opportunities Pension scheme matching up to 5% Life insurance plan Role Summary: Work on database development, data integration and ingestion Build accessible data for analysis Clean-up, transform and normalise data so that it is trusted and easily used for analysis as well as consuming applications Integrating data from different sources Develop high quality, reusable data pipelines at scale Develop and maintain ETL processes in accordance with designs, standards and processes Conduct data analysis to validate results of ETL and other batch processes that manipulate data Skills required: Experience with an end-to-end data technology stack from ETL, data warehousing, onto data visualisation Confident in working with large data sets and writing SQL in BigQuery and ETL platforms Experience building dashboards/data visualisation using a tool such as Tableau/ PowerBI / QlikView and Google Data Studio Expert user of Excel including dashboard build, standardised data, pivot tables and data transformation A high attention to detail to spot issues and troubleshoot until resolved Ideally experience of working with Salesforce or similar CRM Train and mentor junior members of the team For more information on this position and other roles we are currently recruiting for please visit our website www.searchdatagroup.co.uk SearchDATA are the first choice for Business Intelligence and Agile BI recruitment business in the UK and internationally.
