We are currently putting significant investment into Digital and Organisational transformation and our ICT Team is growing and evolving significantly. As part of this growth and investment, our Applications team have recently completed a number of large-scale transformation projects and are continuing to deliver improved Enterprise level systems & services and develop our hybrid cloud virtualised environment. Due to this, we now have an opportunity for a capable Applications Manager to join our collaborative ICT function and lead the team who support the businesses applications portfolio. Reporting into the Head of Technical Delivery you will be a subject matter expert in applications and will bring with you an in-depth technical understanding of application support and maintenance along with a broad understanding of the wider IT disciplines (infrastructure servers, networking, data storage, Project Management, ITIL etc.) and how these functions come together to achieve a common goal. As the Applications Manager here at Your Housing Group you will be leading and developing the Applications Team. Over the coming months, you will be leading the team to deliver on a number of key projects which include moving the business to a Microsoft Dynamics CRM system, and the consolidation of further legacy applications into 4-6 core systems, so there’s a lot of significant change projects to keep you challenged, interested and further develop your experience. If you have experience and knowledge in the following areas, we would really like to hear from you: Experience of team management / leadership Experience of interpreting and delivering IT strategy (specific to applications) Experience in delivering application support in a multi discipline organisation Experience of collaboratively working across a multi-discipline Technical team Experience of operational supplier management (owning and managing relationship and delivery against contractual commitments) Background in software delivery either as a BA/software engineer/ solutions architect.
