PROJECT ENGINEER / IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER To £50,000 GREAT PACKAGE A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join a global business who specialise in the manufacture and supply of a range of products used in agricultural and horticultural markets. The business is driven by innovation and invest heavily into new technology at all of their facilities. The core responsibilities of the Project Engineer will focus around; Asset Utilistation, Continuous Improvement, New Technology, Capex project management and Process Safety. Key responsibilities: Drive optimization of current processes and identify improvement opportunities Develop and lead optimisation trial plans Lead RCA initiatives to identify and execute continuous improvement projects Provide recommendations for process technology advancements Support the Global Improvement Leader in developing and implementing a 5 year capex plan Contractor management and document control Conduct Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Management of Change (MOC) requirements for any process/system changes Act as site lead for MOC process ensuring compliance throughout Drive implementation of process safety standards Key requirements: Degree qualified in a Chemical /Mechanical / Process or similar discipline Proven experience of managing Capex projects for new technology 3 - 5 years' experience in a chemical/process manufacturing environment with Good knowledge of lean manufacturing / world class manufacturing / continuous improvement tools/techniques Process Engineering / Process Safety knowledge A demonstrated history of bringing a major project in safely, on time and on budget Strong knowledge of safety standards/policies; H&S, OSHA and PSM Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Effective team building and communication skills Apply Now to be considered for this opportunity.
