The day job Currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for a unique opportunity to work in collaboration with our existing IMSL Delivery Services team based in Welwyn Garden City. You will evaluate both hardware and software for server, network, storage or desktop environments, providing second and third line support and technical implementation, installation, maintenance, and performance optimisation of some of the most cutting edge infrastructure projects around Key Skills: · Experience in MS Exchange 2010/16 · Strong knowledge of VMWare/HyperV/ESX · Experience in remote access/VPN · Windows Server proficiency – 2012/2016 AD/GPO/PowerShell · Documentation Skills, with the ability to produce documents for use by an end user, as well as operational procedure documentation for use by service desk personnel · Previous exposure as an Infrastructure Engineer on small or medium sized software engineering projects. Desirable Skills · Experience of File/Print Clusters · Enterprise level thin client environments exposure · Messaging systems knowledge, · Used to working to tight SLA’s · Accreditation to MCP level or equivalent/Diploma in Computer Sciences Reasons why you should apply to us · We’re big – really big.
