Overview
If you have started your career in accountancy practice but are looking for a new role where you can develop your skills and career, then this may be the opportunity you are looking for. Watson Evans Associates are working with a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Wadebridge who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their team. The role is available on a full time, permanent basis and you will receive a salary likely to be between £16,000 and £20,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications). You may have already completed Level 4 AAT. If not, then support in achieving this qualification can be made available to you. Further support to study as part of your career development will also be made available to you in the future. Having already worked in an accountancy practice, you will be comfortable preparing sets of accounts, VAT returns, client bookkeeping, and tax returns for a range of businesses including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will need your experience using cloud accounting software to support the clients that you work with, and will be confident in communicating regularly with clients to ensure deadlines are adhered to and a seamless service is offered.
