Overview

Data and Resource Manager - 9 month FTC My client is an independent regulator responsible for promoting high quality corporate governance within the financial services industry which is an independent UK disciplinary body. They now wish to recruit^a Legal Assistant to manage and co-ordinate data and legal resource in a team of up to 12 legal professional staff. The Role: This is a newly created opportunity where you will report to the Head of Legal and offering admin support to assist with the growth of the team's client service delivery. This role will initially commence on a 9-month fixed term basis with the potential for an extension or becoming a permanent role. You will focus on allocating legal work to the legal team, maintaining a central log of legal instructions and deadlines and managing and supporting the lawyers' timely client service delivery. You will maintain a FOIA Disclosure Log for publication on the company Website. You will liaise with IT to facilitate legal review of documents within statutory (FOIA and Data Protection Act) deadlines and maintain the Contracts and Licenses database. The Candidate: To be considered you must be an energetic, efficient, highly organised and capable administrator or^resource manager with the confidence to proactively manage the team's timely service delivery both within the organisation and in relation to external requests for information. Candidates must have a proven track record in administration with thorough document management and organisational skills. Applicants must be confident to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders and comfortable to manage lawyers' service delivery. As you will work with former City trained lawyers it's imperative that candidates have impeccable oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. Experience of resource management and exposure within the legal or regulatory sectors would be advantageous.
