Our client in the Sutton area is a beautiful and modern 70 bed Nursing Home that is part of an organisation that promotes the highest standards of care. They now have an exciting opportunity for Healthcare Assistants to join their passionate team. Ref No. PK41796 The home specialises in elderly and dementia care and is rated "GOOD" in all areas in the most recent CQC report. They are located only a short walk from multiple train stations and are well served by bus routes as well plus have onsite parking. Key details: Both Days and Nights are available for both role and these are full time, permanent positions. (36 or 48 hours per week contracts optional overtime) Some part time hours are available. They pay a generous £9.25 per hour and can also offer great opportunities for progression. We are looking for individuals who have a passion and desire to care for others and work alongside a team of care assistants to promote dignity and independence for all residents within the residential home. Training and support will be provided to care assistants from senior care assistants who have little or no previous experience within a care home. Main duties for care assistants are as follows: Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing Keeping residents comfortable and assisting in manual handling Checking and reporting any change in residents conditions to a senior care assistant Practical Support - Making beds, preparing food & laundry Medical support - Taking temperatures, pulse etc Liaise with visiting family and friends Desirable: Care Assistants with previous experience within a care home and NVQ's within health and social care are highly desirable.
