HR Administrator Based in Surrey. Salary: £20,000 per annum. Permanent, full time role - IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS We are currently recruiting for a HR/ Recruitment Administrator. This is an exciting role to work as a member of the HR Team providing a professional HR support service to staff and Managers in ways which support the development of the organisation and its business objectives. The role will primarily focus on taking ownership and responsibility for all administration associated with HR and Recruitment processes within the employee life cycle. Person Specification: - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Administration skills gained ideally in the education, social care or healthcare sector Solid MS office skills Comitted to a career in HR A calm and unflapppable deamenour Currently undertaking a CIPD or planning to in the future Good administration skills, high level of accuracy High level of discretion and confidentiality Key Responsibilities: - Produce all HR correspondence for employees, e.g. ex-employee references, letters confirming changes to terms and conditions of employment Ensure the HR system is accurate and kept up to date with changes in employee details Ensure that accurate and current HR records are maintained and to be responsible for the recording of sickness absence on the HR system Take ownership of work related injury administration, liaising with Managers, ensuring correct authorised paperwork is in place and accurately recorded on the HR system Carry out prohibition checks to ensure professional requirements are maintained within the teaching profession Be responsible for processing maternity leave, adoption leave and paternity leave, logging notifications and following through from the beginning to end of the process liaising with the Payroll Department where necessary Take ownership of the probation review process, ensuring all new starters and internal employee transfers have accurately completed probationary review documents in place, producing letters confirming the successful completion of the probation process and accurately updating the HR system accordingly To administrate the leaver process on receipt of resignations from employees. Keep up to date with HR best practice and make recommendations for change where appropriate Identify and implement improvements to ways of working to support the delivery of a professional and high level HR service to the business Support the delivery of ad hoc HR projects as they occur Ensure confidentiality and discretion is maintained at all times, and to maintain appropriate records and information within the constraints of the Data Protection Act Identify personal training needs and attend appropriate training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills Undertake and carry out any other reasonable tasks or duties as requested by management.
