Overview
One of my best clients based in a great area of Harrow is looking for several new staff members including a part-qualified Junior Tax Associate who is currently studying towards their CTA qualifications or on an ATT/CTA pathway. They are a 3-Partner firm with an international client base is in a bustling commercial area, with shops, restaurants and transport links easily accessible into London and the outer suburbs. They have a varied client portfolio with turnovers on the hundreds of millions in sectors including media, beauty, legal professionals including solicitors and barristers, medical professionals, high net worth individuals, expatriate tax and offshore income. What will be your day to day as their new Junior Tax Associate? Preparing and assisting on personal tax returns for a selected group of clients including high net worth individuals to give you the best exposure possible Some VAT and corporation tax returns, P11Ds EC Sales VAT reporting Assisting on advisory, budgets and forecasting Adding to the firm’s value and earning bonuses by cross and upselling the firm’s services About you: Currently studying your CTA, ATT/CTA pathway considered as well At least 1 year of practice experience Great communication skills and dedicated to client service Eager to share your knowledge with others and be part of a smoothly run team · Exposure to VT and Iris Good working knowledge of UK and International accounting standards and Tax regulations such as UK GAAP Long-term tax risk planning and advisory is an extremely important aspect of the firm’s services and new clients get in-depth consultations to determine their true wants and needs and how the firm can best provide these. As their new Junior Tax Associate , you will be a part of this process and treated as valued member of the business.
