Overview

My client is looking for a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team and be accountable for the full purchase ledger process, from purchase orders through to invoices and reconciliation. You will provide an indispensable service to the finance team, underpinning the wider financial stability of the business through robust systems and processes. Key responsibilities within the role will include: Receiving, checking and coding invoices Making payments via bank transfer, BACS and cheque Processing expenses Setting up new supplier accounts Reconciling statements Bank reconciliations Banking Person specification: Prior experience in a bookkeeping/purchase ledger based role Experience of working on MS Office, particularly Excel Excellent communication and customer service skills Good organisation skills and able to work to deadlines Team player The hours for the role are 9am -1pm, Monday - Friday.
