Overview

LMA Recruitment are currently business partnering with a high growth PE backed property business in the West End looking for an immediately available Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on an initial 6-month basis, paying between £35-40k. The role will be responsible for the finances of a portion of the groups portfolio of buildings, whilst also providing support to the Management Accounts team during a busy ERP implementation period for the business. Responsibilities: System implementation support (data cleansing, data migration and other system implementation tasks as required) Building / Departmental Accountant (Manage a portfolio of the Group's properties, provide updates on day to day operations of your buildings, maintain relationships with Building Managers and other internal parties, analyze department spend) Month End Accounting (Complete month end within the required timetable, including full P&L and balance sheets for the buildings in your portfolio, provide variance analysis and commentary, reconcile licence fee revenue, post accrual and prepayment journals for each building Maintain and reconcile balance sheet items including the fixed asset register Maintain and distribute the management information pack to the Building Managers / Department Heads Other financial duties: Business partnering with relevant heads of departments to provide historical cost analysis Manage the stakeholder and auditor relationship for a group of buildings in a separate entity managed by TOG. Review the work of the AR/AP teams Review existing processes and procedures and identify improvements Develop and create reports using Jet and Excel Contributing to improvements to AP system and processes Profile: Part qualified accountant CIMA/ACCA (not essential) Extensive experience within Management Accounts Strong Excel skills A background in Retail/Hospitality/Property dealing with multiple entities would be beneficial High growth business experience ERP implementation/Migration is a MUST If you feel you are the right Assistant Management Accountant then please apply here or send your CV
