Overview
Accounting and Finance Manager UK Stevenage Circa 30k per annum bonus Based in Stevenage, this sole charge role is responsible for the day to day accounting activities of this UK entity of a multinational business. You will have overall responsibility for Finance and Administration in the UK and apply all accounting and local business controls. The role will include day to day transactional activities such as invoicing, payables, receivables and cash management. You will ultimately and in time also be responsible for Payroll and some HR administration. Reporting to the CFO you will also be tasked with business reporting and analysis on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Main responsibilities and accountabilities include: Accounting; maintain the books of the UK business Incoming invoices, responsible for processing, controlling and payment Outgoing invoices, processing, controlling, payment application Responsible for local payroll and assist with local HR administration Control of the goods flow. Manage monthly intercompany reconciliation process Handle all company customs and tax matters and some legal compliance matters Analyze financial results in comparison to plan. Prepare monthly reporting to parent company Manage local annual audit process Assist with budget preparation. The ideal candidate for this role will have a mature outlook and a drive to get things done and to get things right. You will need a flexible, "hands-on" and "can-do" mentality along with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise.
