Overview
OUTLINE We are currently recruiting for experienced Coded Pipe Welders to join an expanding team based on various waste to energy plants. You will be working as part of a team of experts who specialise in pipework. The role would be work for the next 3 - 6 months and based in Dudley, Wolverhampton and Stoke. If you are a coded pipe welder to 6g standard this could be the role for you. THE JOB ROLE All TIG Welding Welding, installation and repair of pipework and plant on waste to energy sites comprising 2 boilers and relevant pipework Working with stainless and carbons Carrying out repairs and maintenance on the piping systems for jobs raised by the customers The installation of mechanical piping systems for commercial and domestic customers within the West Midlands and other locations around the UK Must be coded to 6G standard on Carbon Steel The role would be Monday - Thursday 07.00 - 17.00 and Friday 07.00 - 13.00 Must be able to pass a TIG weld test on 2 inch sched 40 carbon steel pipe in 6G position in Wolverhampton. Candidate must have a valid CSCS card or equivalent. To gain access to the sites. EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS CSCS Card is essential Relevant Codes
