Overview

We're currently working with a global trading firm on an opportunity for an HR Manager to join their London office, leading on HR for the EMEA region. As a small business this will be a very relationship led role, and you'll have local as well as remote stakeholders and a remote reporting line therefore communication skills will be key. You'll manage a small team in London and ensure that the business maintains a high-performance culture that are empowered and productive. Responsibilities will include: Leading strategic planning and development of HR programmes and procedures, supporting the business with strategic goals Partner with the business and management team on employee relations practise Coach managers in respect of developing their teams, communication style, encouraging a feedback culture etc. Ensure HR policies and recommendations are in line with legal requirements Managing and making recommendations to the compensation structure including bonuses, raises, and lead competitive market research into pay practices and bandings Provide direction for processes such as organisation development addressing succession planning, workforce development, retention, performance management, org design, change management Candidates suitable for this position will: Have worked in HR for at least 7 years, and have worked in financial services or fin-tech Have demonstratable experience in ER, recruitment, employee engagement, org design and compensation Knowledge of UK employment law and ideally experience and knowledge in international employment law Experience working with executive management Experience managing a small team
