Overview
Project Manager - Primavera P6 Location: Edinburgh Duration: 12 months Inside IR35 EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Intelligent Resource is currently recruiting for a Primavera P6 Project Manager to take accountability for the successful delivery of a Primavera P6 upgrade project for a key Defence sector client. This contract is deemed Inside IR35 and is for a duration of 12 months, with the option to extend beyond that. On client's instructions, due to the urgency, nature and length of the assignment, the successful candidate must have current security clearance. ROLE OVERVIEW Accountability for the successful delivery of a Primavera P6 upgrade project; Establishing and maintaining effective project controls; Organising and directing the project team; Effectively engaging the customer, subcontractors, third parties and project stakeholders throughout the duration of the project; Maintaining a clear understanding of, and regularly reporting, project progress, plans, dependencies, risk and status clearly and accurately, escalating appropriately through the Sopra Steria management chain when necessary. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Demonstrable Primavera P6 experience both as a user and in terms of an implementation project Project Management professional experience and competence Demonstrable Project Management skills and expertise Demonstrable Project Management knowledge required for the role Exhibit and develop the Project Management behaviours required for the role DESIRABLE SKILLS Current Project Management certification required for the role Current Membership of an appropriate professional project management body Educated to Graduate Level or equivalent Intelligent Resource is a wholly owned company within Sandersons Group; an experienced and well established recruitment partner with a family of recruitment companies.
